Be an Early Childhood Advocate
You have a say in promoting sound public policies and sustaining funding to ensure that young children have access to quality programming, which enhances early development and optimal well-being. Being an early childhood advocate is a way for anyone, regardless of political affiliation, to shine a light on issues concerning young children and families and their importance to parents, teachers and entire communities. There are many ways to become involved in Just Kids' advocacy efforts:
Attend a Rally, Visit or Event
Just Kids staff members frequently interact with legislators in Illinois through participating in rallies, visiting legislators at their local and Springfield offices and attending special events put on by other advocating agencies. Individuals affiliated with Just Kids (parents, grandparents, supporters) are welcome to attend these events with us to share their stories and concerns with their legislating officials.
